Cookie Policy
How AYAM uses cookies and similar technologies, and your choices.
Draft — This document is a working draft for professional legal review. It is not legal advice and has not been marked as compliant or approved. Where information is shown as “to be confirmed”, it will appear once configured by AYAM.
What this covers
This policy explains the cookies and similar browser-storage technologies AYAM uses on the public website and the authenticated Guest Guide, why, and how to manage your choices. Consent is separate from accepting the Terms and from any marketing consent.
Categories
- Strictly Necessary: technologies required for the site and Guest Guide to work (authentication, session, access control). These cannot be turned off.
- Preferences: technologies that remember your choices, such as language and light/dark theme. Optional.
- Analytics: technologies that measure how the site is used. AYAM does not currently use any analytics cookies. If AYAM adopts them, they will only activate with your consent.
- Marketing: technologies for marketing and advertising. AYAM does not currently use any marketing cookies. If adopted, they will only activate with your consent and will not be preselected.
What AYAM currently uses
- Strictly necessary: authentication tokens, session identifiers, Guest Guide access flags, app-configuration identifiers. These are required for the app to function.
- Preferences: a language preference and a theme (light/dark) preference. These are stored on your device for convenience.
Consent
On your first visit, AYAM shows a consent banner. You may accept optional cookies, reject them, or manage preferences. Accept and reject are equally easy to use. Your choice is recorded with the consent policy version and timestamp. You can change your choice at any time via "Manage Cookies" in the website footer or "Cookie Preferences" in the Guest Guide's Legal & Privacy area.
What consent covers
Consent to optional cookies is not assumed because you are a guest, log in, enter a Guest Guide PIN, or accept the Stay Agreement. Optional categories only activate with your explicit choice.
Cookie declaration
AYAM does not claim a CNDP cookie declaration reference unless one has been configured. Where configured, the reference appears here: to be confirmed (to be confirmed where not yet configured).
Changes
AYAM may update this policy and the cookies it uses. When the consent setup materially changes, the consent policy version is bumped so your choice can be re-requested.
